Where do we start! There are an overwhelming number of bars and clubs to choose from, but we’ve highlighted a few of our favorites below. Generally speaking there is the ‘front line’ facing directly onto the port tends to be more expensive than the back streets behind.

Popular with the locals, News Cafe may looked cramped at ground level, but opens out on the first floor providing the perfect place to sink sundowners and take in the floating gin palaces in the marina. There’s also an upstairs pool table and if the conversation with your partner dries up, you can always admire the photos of owners Roger and Freddy with such luminaries as Bruce Willis and Enrique Iglesias.

Navy Disco Bar
Dancing, live music and resident DJs. Another Banús institution, the shipshape venue features live music and a bar decorated with brass fittings and a general nautical theme.

Sinatra Bar
Small, very popular bar at entrance to the port which you can’t really miss as it takes you about 10 minutes to walk through the crowds in high season! This really is a Marbella landmark. Since it opened in 1977, Sinatra’s has been the meeting point in Banús for the jet-set, wannabies and has-beens. Incalculable evenings have started with the words “Meet me at Sinatra’s...” and it’s the place for people spotting - footballers, soap stars, yachties,and platinum blondes. The faces change but the conversations don’t.

Salduba Pub

Right next to Sinatra's, attracts the overspill and more laid-back with plenty of tables to sip a drink and people watch. Useful the toilets when there’s a mile long queue at Sinatras.

Marvellous
The Port’s most popular piano bar, Marvellous features the vocal talents of Sinatra soundalike Paul and sensational singer Maite. Run by Beaky of Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Titch fame - Marvellous is another happy hunting ground for those wanting to spot a famous face - Cilla Black, Dale Winton and practically the entire cast from ‘Eastenders’ have all let their hair down here at one time or another.

TIBV - commonly known as TIBU. One of the larger clubs in Puerto Banus, situated in the Plaza Antonio Banderas square between the PYR hotel and the Marina. As well as the dance floor and VIP area, there is a huge outdoor terrace complete with comfy double beds overlooking the Port. TIBV is at its peak during the busy summer months but remains open during the winter.

Glam - is a particular favourite amongst the locals with its funky house beats and convenient location by the Park Plaza Hotel, just minutes away from the Port. During the winter months it opens its doors from Thursdays to Sundays. Throughout the summer it can be visited any night of the week , with various DJ’s and recognized promotions such as ‘Bling’ Productions and a set from the fantastic break dancers. Glam also hosts the after-party for the famous Sintillate at Nikki Beach.

Dreamers - Known as the ‘Cathedral of House Music’ Dreamers is perhaps the busiest night club in Puerto Banus. The club was designed to provide a dream-like clubbing experience with Top International DJ’s like Erick Morillo on rotation. There are also various well known club nights such as Hed Kandi and Kinky Malinky. On the whole it is very popular with the Spanish locals. Dreamers is around a 15 minute walk from the bars in the port, depending on the amount of alcohol consumption. A taxi will get you there in a couple of minutes.

Olivia Valére - Looks like a Moorish fort outside and a palace inside. Olivia Valare After being a resident for over 30 years, Olivia Valare and her night club need no introduction on the Costa del Sol. Situated slightly out of the way on the Istan road not far from the Golden Mile, It is definitely worth a visit to gaze at the elaborate décor with its exquisite collection of gardens, terraces and fountains.
