The Port has pretty much every kind of designer boutique the most hardened shopper could wish for with designers Roberto Cavalli, Chloe, Dior and Chanel to beautiful Spanish and Moroccon retailers – though try checking out the market on Saturday for Kaftans and linens – they tend to be overpriced in the port.

Zara, Mango, Kookai, Karen Millen and many more are located in the Plaza Antonio Banderas square between the PYR hotel and the Marina.

The famous El Corte Ingles is a major department store in which you can find everything from tights to tuxedos. The Hiperco is a large supermarket within El Corte Ingles and is a good place to stock up, especially convenient if you’re planning a barbeque after a day on the beach (you’ll find the Fish & Meat counters a real treat).

You can also buy tickets for many different Coach tours and excursions including day trips to Morocco and Ronda, the Spanish Town where Bull fighting started.
